Technologies for Low Carbon and Lean Construction (TLC2) is a Prospective Center of Excellence at IIT Madras it aims to develop innovative low-carbon, lean construction technologies for minimizing waste throughout the construction value-chain, and lead solution implementation across organizational and policy levels.
The logo is constructed by implementing the vision of TLC2, while the color is derived from nature, which indicates the purpose of TLC2 in reducing construction waste and preserving the environment. The “T” is obtained from the combination of the path and leaves of the plant. The “C” is created by mixing the letter “C” and Gear. The 8 teeth in the “C” indicates the 8 stages in the circular economy.
